Little Black Frame fundraiser

This wonderful event has already been sold out! Each artist submits a piece, anonymously. The only restrictions being that they all must be contained in the same little black frame. It is such a fun event to participate in and attend. This is my second year and I cannot wait to get dressed up for a fun night of art at the DVSA.

Teaching, art and SUPERCRAWL!

It has it has been a while since my last post because life has been extremely busy. I am now a certified teacher and spent all of last year supplying for the Halton District School Board. This summer I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to teach mixed media art to 4-6 year olds at the Dundas Valley School of Art. It was a whirlwind of paper mache and pipe cleaners, the Mona Lisa and Egyptian sarcophagi. You can catch me this weekend at Hamilton's supercrawl. From 12 till 3:30 on Sunday ...

A lot of big things are happening in my world.

Firstly, in 9 days, I am off to Italy with my wonderful mother. We are spending 3 days in each: Rome, Florence and Venice. I am very excited. My cameras are all charged up, my memory cards wiped clean and my Italian is weak at best. Many images and paintings to follow.

Secondly, I am moving from Burlington, Ontario to Toronto. It's time to try living in a big city. In Toronto, there is always something going on with art galleries, exhibitions, performances and festivals. I think it's going to ...
