biography

In 2015, Jacquie received her Bachelor of Education from Brock University, and was then hired on with the Halton District School Board, as an Elementary Occasional Teacher. She now also works for the HWDSB, and teaches art to children and adults at the Dundas Valley School of Art. Also a graduate with an Honours Degree in Art and Art History, from Sheridan College and the University of Toronto, Jacquie has exhibited in Toronto and surrounding areas for over ten years. She works mainly in photography and oil paint, with a focus on cityscapes, reflective imagery and portraiture. With a previously attained diploma in Advertising and Design from Mohawk College, Jacquie also incorporates a designer’s perspective when planning and creating her work. The three media: photography, design and painting often work together to achieve the desired final image.
